Song Cyclist

Written by David Peake and Directed by Green Room Award nominee Hayley Butcher, SONG CYCLIST premiered at Chapel Off Chapel as part of Melbourne Fringe 2013.

Set in an advertising agency in the Docklands, SONG CYCLIST tells the story of Peter Head. A leg-shaving, protein-bar-munching, long-black-sipping mountain of man. He cycles 25km to work every day; a gruelling routine which requires endurance, determination and most importantly: tight lycra.

But on this day, the slowing economy threatens to bankrupt the company that he helped to build, and Peter must rally all his dysfunctional co-workers together to save it!
